Device Specifics Warning: Mobile Android apps do not run standard browser cookies. Instead, they store game states and streak parameters in native on-device memory and retrieve diagnostics using dedicated developer SDKs.

1. Website: Browser Cookies & Storage

On our website, cookies and local storage coordinate structural features:

  • Essential Tokens: Local storage locks (e.g., `mathquiz_last_submit_*`) block spam bots by preventing multiple contact form entries within 60 seconds.
  • Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics (GA4) uses anonymous cookies (like `_ga` and `_gid`) to log browser counts and page flow interactions.
  • IND Analytics: Integrates anonymous script tracking to evaluate general visitor volumes without storing personal profiles.
  • IND Connect: Serves live chat support scripts allowing players to query math parameters directly from browser interfaces.

2. Android App: SDK Telemetry & Storage

The MathQuiz Android App does not run browser cookies. Instead, the native compilation leverages:

  • Advertising Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (AD-ID) allows AdMob SDK to serve safe mobile ads. Personalized ad tracking can be turned off in your Google Android account settings.
  • Firebase SDKs: Performance diagnostics, unhandled app exceptions, and notifications streak alerts are coordinated via Firebase core APIs.
  • Google Play Services: Core system libraries required to compile security configurations and app licenses.
  • Local SQLite Storage: Streak calendar indexes, math operator selections, and calculation speed preferences are stored locally in the App's secure database memory.

3. Controlling Your Cookies

You can restrict, block, or delete cookies at any time by configuring your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies
  • Safari: Settings > Safari > Privacy & Security
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Enhanced Tracking Protection

To stop Google Analytics across all online platforms, install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
